COMBINED ARMS BATTALION: Armoured & Naval Warfare, fighting against MTC & Dead Ahead groups in professional battles on a regular basis!
Appearance
Don't change your skin or face: natural skin, and the default smile if you haven't customised it. Greens are the preferred uniform, with a beret. Look your best and act professional.
Working the Plaza
Show up and stand your ground. Come in full uniform. If chat is on and someone comes over with questions, answer them. Otherwise just stand there and look swag. The vanity invite on the booth does most of the work.
Deal with the chat restriction. The Roblox chat update limited in-game chat. If you don't own the image board upgrade for your booth, you may need to buy a sign or find another way to make the booth work. Ask Fern for a subdivision if you need one for rallies or recruitment events.
Log your recruits. DM recruits are easier to log than GRP recruits right now. Keep track of who you bring in; the exact method isn't decided yet, and time spent in-game may count too. Send ideas to the recruitment commissioner, Fern.
DM recruiting
Only one Legion division should DM any given recruit. Before you DM someone, check the emoji reactions in #join-log to see who has claimed them. We started doing this because Ehrenwache used to DM the same person several times.
Pick your targets carefully. Go for players whose profile suggests they'd fit in CAB. Plane, ship and tank pfps are the main targets, but use your judgement and don't skip someone just because they don't look like a vehicle fan. Someone with an Ehrenwache emoji is still fine to DM if EW hasn't claimed them first.
Leave Ehrenwache's leads alone. If someone looks like a better fit for Ehrenwache (infantry or Napoleonic aesthetic), leave them for EW. Anyone Ehrenwache hasn't already claimed is fair game.
Logging
DMs are easier to log than GRP right now. Keep a note of who you've contacted and how it went. If you have a better way to track it, bring it to Sammy or Fern.

CAB & Ehrenwache joint guidelines
Ehrenwache and CAB both have active recruitment departments, so we share a joint channel to coordinate. It's where we agree on shared rules, swap tips, and warn each other when a wave of diplomats from one community is expected before an event.
General rules
- Don't recruit people who are already in another division, unless they've said they want to switch
- Don't discourage Legionary Vostannia members from joining any division. Keep the Legion welcoming
- Don't recruit anyone with the Diplomat role, or anyone who looks like a diplomat
CAB-specific rules
- Don't recruit people with NW-style profile pictures
- Don't recruit people from NW, Waterloo at Home, MoW or ACS-related communities
- Don't recruit people who are in NMC
